Join Dr Chantell Douglas, Senior Clinical Psychologist, Mindful Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist and Mindfulness Practitioner for this heart-warming and nourishing workshop. Chantell has been integrating compassion practices into her life and work for over a decade. Together, we will explore movement and mindful self-compassion practices to invite soothing for the body, mind and heart. There is no one fits all, and Chantell will you invite to explore different variations, and to notice what fits best for you and your body. These practices are grounded in the science and research-base for psychological wellbeing, as well as the ancient wisdom of the yoga framework. Chantell will share a short talk, followed by a gentle and nourishing yoga flow practice, which will include breath-work, meditation, restorative postures and guided rest. There will be a tea break and opportunity for reflective journaling to start exploring these ideas for yourself, and to continue cultivating self-compassion practices afterwards.
